Cecelia Mitchell
Cecelia Mitchell is a ceramic artist, painter and designer and likes to draw on all these disciplines for inspiration in her functional ceramic pieces. She is very interested in the play of shape, color and surface texture to create a multi level interest in each of the one-of -a kind pieces.
Cecelia received her BFA from Saint Mary’s College concentrating in Painting and Ceramics. She has thrown many a pot at Evanston Art Center and Lill Street Studios before joining the Guild. When her hands are not in clay, she runs an Interior Design Studio in Evanston specializing in the selection of Architectural Colors and Materials.
